Dear II community,

I step into this role with gratitude and a strong sense of responsibility, not only as the new CEO, but also as a fellow believer in the power of principled work. The Integrity Institute exists because people like you refuse to look away from harm unfolding online and offline. You choose to speak up and urge individuals, organizations, and governments to do better for humanity. That commitment is what drew me here and continues to inspire me every day.

This Institute was founded on a clear and urgent premise: integrity in the digital world is not optional. It is essential. Today, we find ourselves at a pivotal moment. The risks in the Trust & Safety field are rising, and the challenges are multiplying. But so, too, is our power to lead a safer, more trustworthy digital world.

In the months ahead, we’ll roll out substantive programming and research to advance our mission, strengthen our collective impact, and raise the visibility of our field. These efforts will reflect the values we share. But none of this is possible without you. You are the conscience of this space. Your insights, your lived experiences, and your principled stances are what give this Institute its heart and purpose.

Alba is a seasoned executive with over two decades of experience leading mission-driven organizations and driving sustainable growth across nonprofit, corporate, and government sectors. As Chief Executive Officer of the Integrity Institute, she brings a proven track record of strengthening infrastructure, forging cross-sector alliances, scaling service delivery, and building lasting impact. Her leadership has supported tens of thousands of professionals and students across the U.S. and globally, stewarded multimillion-dollar, mission-aligned partnerships with national and international enterprises, and launched programs that advance equity, education, human rights, and economic mobility.

Fluent in English and Spanish and grounded in service, Alba has elevated visibility and engagement through thought leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and strategic advocacy. At the Integrity Institute, she continues to steward its founding vision of advancing the creation and implementation of ethical, transparent social internet systems that help people, societies, and democracies thrive.
