Response to Australia's Draft Children's Online Privacy Code

On June 4th, 2026, members of the Integrity Institute submitted a formal response to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) as part of their consultation on the proposed Children's Online Privacy Code.

Our submission reflects the collective expertise of our Trust and Safety community, offering practitioner-informed perspectives on key areas of the draft Code, including Age Assurance, Scope of Covered Services, Parental Consent, User Rights, and Privacy Impact Assessments.

We are grateful to the OAIC for the opportunity to contribute to these guidelines.
